Mini Zen Garden

Singapore too small to own your own garden at home?
Come build a mini one with us!

This unique workshop is created by a professional landscaper, who designs and builds actual zen gardens for clients. Run on a secret rooftop garden popular for its beekeeping, you'll be surrounded by nature as you build a mini Zen Garden to take home.

At this 1.5hr session, you'll learn the design principles behind this revered Japanese art, such as Austerity and Naturalness. As well as the significance of various softscape elements such as rocks (mountains) and bridges (portals to another plane). Enjoy The Sundowner's garden setting, and end off with a cup of sake!

We provide all the materials needed, even including a live mini bonsai that will be the centrepiece of your garden. In the end, you'll get to take home your creation, and as it is a living garden, tend to it. Raking the sand to make new designs will be most fun!
