Deep Dive Into The World of Beer​

Lager? Pilsner? Stout? Ale? Weissbier? If you’ve heard those names tossed around at bars and parties but can’t tell your pils from your porter... now is the time!

We have partnered with one of Singapore's leading microbreweries and craft beer pubs, Lion Brewery Co, to deep dive into the world of beer! At this 2h session held at The Sundowner (or House of Melissa for larger groups), you will get to taste a flight of Lion's craft beers. Learn the art of tapping a draught like a pro! Your expert host will guide you through tasting techniques, helping you distinguish between sweetness and dryness, malt profiles, hop varieties, and all the nuanced flavours that make each beer unique.

Just like our crowd favourites Roast Your Own Coffee and Bean to Bar Chocolate workshops, this is a very hands-on experience: You'll brew your own beer from a homebrew kit, sniff some hops, and pitch some yeast. And leave with a deeper appreciation of this fermented elixir... and maybe a little buzzy 😉​​
